Warrior Roots needed a variety of custom images to promote their products and warrior groups. The warrior paintings inspired by MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) athletes is directly attributable to one of the company's founders, Tom Murphy, who is a professional MMA fighter himself. Using his professional connections he was able to secure endorsements from MMA superstars like George St.Pierre, Rich Franklin, Keith Jardine and Shane Carwin.
